Harris has been under rated in D5 since last season. I'll post last year's stats and this year's stats as I think he's been higher than a 74 for quite a while.

He may not be the defender he once was, but he's pretty average now. He was scoring a bit more last year on less efficiency but this year he's putting up absurd shooting splits.

Over the last 80 games the guy is putting up like 10 ppg with great shooting splits, mostly as a starting SG. And you say 74?

Can't rebound, can't pass, I'm sure you'll say he is a good defender but that's not true it's just old reputation like when people said Avery Bradley was a good defender on the clippers.

So if scoring 9 points a game without any other good attributes on a bad team is a 78, then every player is a 78. What if they score 9 points a game in a good team? Are they an 82?

So apparently asking for a SW for Harris is causing some exaggerated drama. Jerry specifically brought up Kennard as a reason Harris can't be a 78.

Kennard: 21 mpg - 8.6 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.2 apg, 0.5 STOCKS on 49/46/95 and 66% TS
Harris: 23 mpg - 9.3 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 1.3 apg, 1.0 STOCKS on 50/47/85 and 66% TS

Kennard: -0.1, -0.9, -1.0 RAPTOR
Harris: +1.6, -1.0, +0.6 RAPTOR

But asking for a 78 for this guy is this egregious? Is Kennard so much better than Harris?

There is not a single person on planet earth that would take Harris over Kennard. I was using it as an example because you accused people of not watching games when you clearly are at fault for it.

I accused you of not paying attention to the Magic because you weren't aware he was starting lol. And I also said you have no reason to pay attention to the Magic because they're boring so it's understandable. None of us can pay attention to every single player. The fact that Harris is doing decent this year probably comes as a surprise to many people. Even if he's not a 78, he's better than a 74. And asking for a 78 when there are others in that ballpark isn't some egregious crime.

76 seems fair — agree with Izzo’s assessment that defensively he’s far away from what he used to be pre injuries, but as a role player it’s worth a raise based on play
