Aaron Gordon - Indiana PacersAaron Gordon has agreed to return to the Pacers on the following contract:
Year 1: $19,845,000
Year 2: $18,630,000
Year 3: $17,415,000
Year 4: $16,200,000 (PO)
Total: $72,090,000
Gordon received a decent amount of interest this offseason, and the decision came down to the Atlanta Hawks or the Indiana Pacers. Both teams guaranteed Gordon a starting role, and we felt that both presented a similar opportunity to win. Ultimately, we felt that with Indiana as the re-signing team, and with Larry Bird showing a tremendous amount of dedication to bringing AG back from Day 1 of free agency, that it made more sense to return to Indiana than to venture to Atlanta.
