This was a tough one for me as I'm really high on Saddiq Bey and his cheap contract for the next couple years but I'm also super high on big defensive centers like Mitch Robinson. I'm aware I'm going to have to resign him after next year but this gives me a nice set of twin towers down low with him and Nurkic next year while I wait for Jalen Duren to develop and picking up another 1st albeit a late 1st helped me offset that and I needed a extra roster spot. I think Mitch is also poised to have a real break out year next year and will continue to build upon his great defensive skill set and hopefully catching some nice set ups from the Knicks new point guard Brunson

I accept.
Since I drafted Mitchell Robinson I have envisioned him as future cornerstone of the franchise. However, after Walker Kessler fell in my lap this year and already having Isaiah Stewart I felt we had too many guys at the same spot and given Mitch’s impending Free Agency I felt now was the time to make a move.
I really, really, like Saddiq Bey, and feel like he fits in well with my other young guys very well. Hate to give up a 1st, but cost of doing business sometimes. Pat C will be a solid bench player and Tillman will probably be on the move here shortly.

Both are nice, but I think I would definitely have Bey going forward, as his ceiling is higher imo. Mitchell is good but will be quite limited how much he can still get better. And he probably will get ridiculously expensive next year. Also it's hard to find really good rotation guys with one of the final picks in 1st round to cover the value.

Saddiq will be better in the long run imho, he's obsessed with the game whereas Mitchell Robinson has always come across as a bit of a dumass
