Jonathan Isaac has agreed to the following contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder:

Year 1: $17,500,000
Year 2: $17,500,000
Year 3: $17,500,000
Year 4: $17,500,000 Player Option

Total: $70,000,000


There were two main suitors for Isaac: the Thunder, and his BRs team of the Magic. Orlando made a strong offer at the beginning of free agency, but ultimately was only willing to guarantee $45m over 2 seasons. As Isaac has played just 34 games in the past 3 years, and with ample opportunity for him in the Thunder lineup, we thought it best to take the extra guaranteed $25m that this 4 year deal provides rather than the larger upfront amount from the Magic. Jonathan is excited to join his new team and hopefully play more than 34 games during this contract!
