Chris Boucher has agreed to a 5 year contract worth $64,500,000 to return to Toronto. Here are the contract details:

Year 1: $15,100,000
Year 2: $14,000,000
Year 3: $12,900,000
Year 4: $11,800,000
Year 5: $10,700,000

This wasn't an easy decision, since both Houston and Toronto were very appealing for Boucher. Toronto had a big advantage on the financial side, while Houston was very interesting for his career prespective and legacy. In the end, knowing that Chris is already at the age of 29 and only made 3 million dollars so far in D5, we felt like it was his only opportunity to secure a life changing amount of money for him, his kids and future grandkids. Which ended up making us leave the opportunity to be a starter on a contender on the table, and return to Toronto to backup JV and Siakam, in order to make an extra 20 million dollars.

Toronto has been Chris only team in D5, and we hope to keep it that way until the end of his career.
