It was also fun how you originally posted this thread under the (incorrect and imcomplete) name "Clarke". I was like, who the heck is that? And why doesn't he have a first and/or last name? He's a 69, these are the rules, you knew them when you bid. I did it because I didn't know what to do to keep some sort of secrecy and I tried to advantage from the fact that his last name was misspelled. There is no rule that says you should add the name and the real last name instead of the one listed in the title... I could make a proper offer with confidentiality I probably would have added the right name and last name in the title, lol.

I don't really understand why, if you like him so much, you want someone else to bid on him?

I don't really understand why, if you like him so much, you want someone else to bid on him? I guess I can't handle the fact that I am fucked and Clark would be a signed player by now (for cheap) if he was a 70 instead of a 69. Maybe there is no confidentiality to prevent cheap signings from happening but if that is the idea, 4 years deals don't make sense. 1-2 years should be the limit. Then, players expire fast and they get better deals.

Total: $10,260,000
This beats the "Kings" best offer by another $1.61 million.

I'm trying Clyde, I'm trying. His penny-up ways are hopefully going to be finished after this. I'm not sure the real GM of the Kings is willing to put up 10+ Mil for Clark.

Also, if you guys are looking for a small forward around Clark's current price range, I've got Luc Richard Mbah A Moute. Making about 4 million and has a bigger rating than clark.

It looks like calling daddy worked for you...
I thought I was the big spender... Using Lukas´ late inactivity to get Clark might actually work for you.

That's my plan. First off, I'm not sure how serious he really is about Clark (you and he go way back, maybe he did that as some sort of favor for you, I dunno), and second of all, I may not need to spend much more than him to get Clark, as Lukas may not check in for awhile. Just shrewd GM'ing now that we're up at a pretty legitimate contract for what Earl has done thus far.

Wow. Clarksanity at its finest. ;D I would still bid if I was allowed, lol. Too bad Clark is not a 70... I wanted to bid for Clark during the off-season. That would have been a steal.

Why would anybody accept a contract that decreases towards the end of it? Almost all players would negotiate a deal loaded at the back end.
