Current rating: 94 Stats: 24.3 pts / 6.9 Reb / 5.7 ast / .538 TS% (31 games) Not going to dig any further than that, but I'll link his stats: www.basketball-reference.com/players/g/georgpa01.html94 just seems...incredibly high. Good/great 2-way player, just don't consider him THAT elite. Suggested rating: 90

I think PG was at risk of a decrease for a while. I think 90 is too low though. I'd go 92.4. I still think he's a slice above the guys currently rated at 90.

No change - dude just came back from injury and is still an insane two way player

I watch 90% of clippers games and this dude is still a REALLY high level player. Teams are double teaming him a LOT and he's the main reason the clippers have been deadly from 3 the last 2 years. This is just a lazy SW

🤔
George hasn't played more than 54 games since 2019. Is it a fair assessment to give him 3 years to come back from an injury? If he's perpetually injured should we just keep him at a 94 forever? We jumped on Klay pretty quickly...
George ain't the player he was in 2019 no matter how many games you watch. I don't think that's fair. In 31 games this year he's shooting pretty poorly. Maybe you can say 31 games isn't a large enough sample size, but this dude's been injured on and off for the last 3 years. I'm not sure he's the 9th best player in the league right now

PG does feel overrated to me
Comparing him to the highest rated players in the league, I'm fairly sure he's not the 9th best player in the NBA. I wouldn't take him above any of those 90-rated players personally (edit: although ironically I would take him over AD or Jimmy Butler)
98 - Giannis / Jokic 97 - Durant / Lebron 96 - Steph / Embiid / Kawhi 95 - Harden 94 - Paul George 93 - Luka 92 - AD 91 - Jimmy Butler 90 - CP3 / Tatum / Booker / Kyrie / Trae

Did the 9th highest rated D5 player just choke in the playoff against Anthony Edwards or was that just a dream 🤔

And you know, the reason I left the Discord is the same reason I make these posts: some of you turn something fun as a hobby into something exhausting and irritating. You can't be happy. You can't be excited. You can't even have an opinion that differs without an attack or bullying. It's berating and little sniggering gang ups and group think and twisting of words.
God forbid someone be happy about their players and hype them up. The incessant need to be right and troll and generally negative toward anyone's optimism is tiring.

Lol PG did have a bad night, but you know what, I’m not gonna lose sleep over it — he’s still an elite player, coming off a torn elbow ligament who would be your second best player on your team all day

Very tiring. Definitely has turned this hobby into something else.
