Bobby Portis has blossomed in his promoted role with the Bucks. Since being inserted into the starting lineup, Bobby has been a more efficient, consistent complement in the frontcourt. He’s averaging a career-high 15.7 points and 9.2 rebounds per game while shooting 48.8 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from three-point range. His productivity, volume, and consistency have all taken a massive leap in his second year with Milwaukee. His presence at the starting center position has given this team a more explosive pop offensively and it continues to generate success.

At just 26 years old, Portis is still drifting into his prime while also improving on both ends of the floor each year. Besides, the blue-collar player has seemed to have found a home in the blue-collar city of Milwaukee.
