How good would D5 Memphis be if they stayed without a GM since day 1? They would have Gasol, Gay, Randolph, Allen, Conley, Mayo, Selby, Cunningham, Speights, Arthur all still under contract. Basically, they would have the team they have now in real life (20-9) with some minor differences and Mayo. Now, compare it to the D5 roster. Greg is doing a fine job but the previous GMs fucked up big time. ;D It all started with the Villanueva-for-Mayo trade which was beyond horrible.

I feel that if I get a few more pieces, my team will be better than the real life Grizz.
Nene won't be here long. Varajeo and Anderson as my front court provides me with exactly what is needed. I've got JR Smith as the 2. He's been excellent for the Knicks and I paid a good chunk of money for him, but I think that was a smart move on my part.
Point Guard and the Three are where I run into my problems. I have a deep bench too. I also have pieces to move to get better. I know some people aren't really sold on my team yet. I understand that. Randolph is older, and I know he's a monster. I prefer Varajeo's skill set and age though. Gay is a great player, absolutely awesome and would fit back into this system I'm running well. Conley's overrated. They should have kept Greivis.
I think my team is comparable to the real life Grizz. I also believe that this team is still a work in progress to get them where I want them to be.
