Current rating 76 Suggested rating 82.5
10ppg / 9rpg / 1.7 apg / 0.8 spg / 2.1bpg Per36: 12ppg / 11rpg / 2.2 apg / 1 spg / 2.6bpg
Shooting splits 75% / 0% / 63%
Offense: Obviously not stretching the floor, but is one of the best lob threats and dunkers in the league. Ridiculous 75 FG% (Gobert is 70%, Prime DeAndre Jordan was 70%). 74.5% TS% Good advanced offensive stats. In top20 in Offensive Win Shares, 142 offensive rating Not good but serviceable FT shooter
Defense: 3rd in Blocks per game, 3rd in block% 4th in loose balls recovered 13th in Defensive Box Plus Minus
Time Lord has become really impactful on both sides of the court. Even though his usage is super low as Boston plays more iso-ball and doesn't have a proper point guard to throw lobs to him, his gravity opens up plays for everyone else. Obviously he is never going to be a tier 1 center without an outside game, but if compared to someone with a similar game like Capela (rated 85), Williams is a better finisher, FT-shooter, blocker. Not as good rebounder yet, and due to the lower usage scoring is bit lower, but few ratings point below seems reasonable.

I’m not going as high as suggested here, BUT…that being said, his impact is pretty undeniable and I’d rather have him than some of the other bigs rated in the low 80s

I think he does the things he does very well, but is still quite limited. I could be wrong, but I think Walt has cautioned us on rating more limited players too high. It results in him needing to add points to attributes that aren't accurate to the players skillet just to increase his overall ratings.

It results in him needing to add points to attributes that aren't accurate to the players skillet just to increase his overall ratings. Definitely a balancing act. On the other hand, someone who REALLY excels in one or two areas can require some points that are hard to find, too. But it's hard to say until I take the 5-ish minutes to get in there and move points around. Truly, we generally do a really good job at overalls, in this system. Every once in a while I wish I had more points or find I have too many, but it's pretty close at least 90% of the time, maybe even 95% or higher.
