Clippers accept.
We truly believe that Kemba will continue to play ball past this current hurdle. Draymond is a defensive stud and potential difference maker for the Clippers.
We certainly take on some salary going forward but based on the fact that we weren't really able to land any top free agents anyway, we have the cap space to burn.
Draymond is a legit starting level piece for our team this year. Kemba is a wild card. The 2nd is bonus.
Again, this is a no brainer deal which truly moves the Clippers to a playoff team.

Not sure how this fits with Houston's team direction but I accept pending Mr Izzo.

I accept.
I shouldn't have re signed Kemba, but chalk it up to us being a generous and loyal franchise. The bottom line is we were going nowhere with Kemba and Draymond. I love Draymond, but I've spent all off season hyping him up and consistently getting shot down both in rating discussions and trade discussions. Never mind that he's notoriously been a very bad sim player.
Additionally, Kemba may be out of the NBA soon. At the very least, he's a far cry from his All NBA self.
I've made mistakes. I should have held onto Chris Paul and traded Kemba Walker. But I didn't and here we are.
Age and non trade able bird rights don't help trade value either. Trying to trade anyone on my team not named Giannis is a headache. So we're resetting to combat San Antonio's rise and Golden State's OP pillars.
Julius Randle and Giannis are a good core. For the first year since I've been running the Rockets we have our own draft pick this summer and cap space to spend. We'll try our luck at luring someone to Houston to join Giannis and Randle and catapult us to the top once more.

So how does the new OSFA rule affect this trade? Does it include this one as well or just trades going forward?

So how does the new OSFA rule affect this trade? Does it include this one as well or just trades going forward? I'm going to go ahead and process this trade even though it clashes with the original December-15th rule.
