Christian Wood will be joining the Cleveland Cavaliers on a max contract! This was the most highly contested FA that I represented this off-season. We had strong offers from Minnesota, New Orleans, and Los Angeles (Clippers) and even stronger offers from Dallas, Toronto, and Miami that included max contracts. Ultimately, it was decided that Cleveland, which won 50 games last year, was a place where Christian could be paid like a star while playing with other stars. Thank you to all the other teams that offered for Christian, this was a very tight decision - you all made very compelling arguments for your teams.
