Even though I didn't want to part with primo that's a small price to pay for a player that I think has a chance to blow up in Orlando being the starting center and they plan to play him some at PF so that's great for Rudy's back up and learn from the best. Plus WCJ is from Fairburn Ga which is right down the road from me Good talks Bill Walton

I accept.
WCJ has a chance to breakout this year, absolutely, but I've watched his career closely, and between injury history and a lack of defensive awareness, I'm not convinced that he has the opportunity to break out to be much more than a solid starter. Kid has talent, but there's a reason why his career has been so-so this far.
Besides that, we're in a long rebuilding process. I suppose if WCJ got off to a particularly hot start, there's a chance I could sell him for more in a few weeks, but there's also the chance that he performs the way he has in the past, and if he underperforms in Orlando while he has ample opportunity, his stock will drop like a rock. I've got more to lose by seeing what happens than taking the deal in front of me with WCJ.
I really like Primo. One of the youngest players in the league, on a team that has done a great job developing talent, and the kid has a fucking flamethrower of a shot. Very promising for a guy so young to already be good enough at one thing to earn minutes on most teams. Spurs are notoriously tough to get minutes on for rookies, so I don't expect anything huge from him this season, but he's got a bright future, no doubt.
Rondo is also a nice expiring salary that could be flipped as the piece I send out when taking on a shitty contract. Feel pretty good about this one.

I accept. Solid trade for each team in regards to what they're looking for, respectively.

Nobody else thinks this is absolute robbery by the Kings? OKC is giving away their most valuable player (only valuable player?) for a projected second round pick that unexpectedly went in the lottery. Primo has shown catch and shoot ability and basically nothing else. WCJ looks like he should at least be a low end starter. Even with Primo just being 18, the odds that he will develop into a player at least as valuable as WCJ are pretty low. I think this puts OKC at rock bottom.

I think primo has looked pretty good in preseason and summer league.
I wasn't a fan of him pre-draft but he's sort of won me over

WCJ has been a walking injury — when healthy, sure, the flashes are there and I would agree on your projection, but his availability is in doubt AND he’s due an extension shortly. Primo is five seasons away from that and in a pretty good development bubble in SAS, and I can see the appeal for SAC here as a Rudy G hedge if he opts out

I mean, yes, statistically it isn't probable that a rookie will develop to WCJ's production. He's a solid starter. But, I'm not as bullish as others on WCJ having that much upside (his defense needs a ton of work, and there's a huge injury history with him) The question for me becomes, if WCJ gets a serious injury, or he doesn't and isn't plays about how he did in Chicago, then his value isn't going to be much at all. I think it's a good time to sell medium on him. Primo is a swing for the fences acquisition, which is the kinds of trades I'm trying to make now. I want to assemble a glut of rookie contract guys that can outperform their contracts. The model here is essentially to find 10 or 12 Josh Primos--hopefully a couple become cornerstones, and a few become trade assets that garner more value. Make some trades, keep a cap space window open before I have to dish out any big-time second contracts, and we're in business.
