Damontas Sabonis has agreed to return to the Detroit Pistons, signing a 5 year contract worth $161,595,120. The final year is a player option.

2nd year: $30,211,262
3rd year: $32,319,024
4th year: $34,426,786
5th year: $36,534,548 (PO)
Detroit traded for Sabonis at the end of the 2019/2020 season and have shown both loyalty and capacity to improve their roster in the past year and a half. We hope that the team keeps growing around Sabonis with young star prospects like Anthony Edwards and DeAndre Ayton.
