I win this one, correct? Isn’t the MIL bid invalid?

How is a $1M decrease valid on this offer?

How is a $1M decrease valid on this offer? Because he has cap space That doesn’t matter. Max increase or decrease is 7.5% of the initial year or the minimum

He's all yours Brad. When I switched up to have the deal decrease instead of straight across, I had a brain fart moment and forgot about the 7.5% decrease rule. Trying to do too much at once.

Sorry to get to the party late Glenn Robinson Brad StevensI would say that the last legal offer in this thread is actually Milwaukee's: Year 1: $4,000,000 Year 2: $4,000,000 Year 3: $4,000,000 Year 4: $4,000,000 4 year 16m The rule is: The maximum amount that a contract can increase or decrease each year is by 7.5% of the initial offer or the league minimum salary. However Phoenix's offer decreases by an amount inside of the dead space that is both more than 7.5% but less than the League Minimum Salary.

I’m not sure how it can be interpreted that way if it says 7.5% OR the league min. When would the league minimum increase/decrease be allowable if not when it is greater than the 7.5%?

Actually that's a good point. PHX signs Vanderbilt.
