Giannis Antetokounmpo has agreed to return to the Houston Rockets, signing a 3 year contract worth $108,760,545. The final year is a player option.

Year 1: $33,724,200

Year 2: $36,253,515

Year 3: $38,782,830 (PO)

Despite the interest from other teams with enticing visions, Giannis was always a player who put loyalty first as long as his team is winning, and by reaching the conference finals last season, Houston showed to be in the right path to a championship.

As to the duration of the contract, after some discussion, me and my client decided to sign a 2+1 in order to sign a 10 year max contract as soon as possible, this was a specially important point for us given that Giannis was always underpaid so far in his career, signing his last contract for less than the amount of max money possible.
