Rex maybe flipping the bird, but it is the Kings who are telling him to fuck off!
The Sacramento Kings fired Rex Ryan last week after his antics all season as Head Coach of the New York Jets, in real life, of the National Football League. Owner Charles Boen, a die hard Tim Tebow fan, finally became disenfranchised enough with Rex to pull the trigger after months of pondering the matter. "I loved Rex as the Baltimore Raven's Defensive Coordinator and his first two years as the Jets Head Coach. However, after last year, the Jets obviously needed a quarterback change. When they brought Tim Tebow in during the off-season I thought he would end up being their guy, but alas Rex tricked us all." The finally straw came last week when the Jets replaced starter Mark Sanchez with Greg Mcelroy, the third stringer, who then led the offense on a scoring drive and effectively won the game by a score of 7 to 6. Why did Rex not go with Tebow? Well, despite doctor's giving their approval for Tebow to play, Rex deactivated him; citing a rib injury as the reason way. This move prevented Tebow from being able to back up Sanchez that game, leaving the door open for Mcelroy. Now, Rex appears to be going back to Sanchez for this weeks game against Tebow's hometown Jacksonville Jaguars. "I will not stand for this shit, and I told Rex that" said Boen "Tebow should be the Jets QB, yet Rex obviously does not believe in him. As a result, the Kings need to go a different direction, despite a great off season. What if Rex decides to play JJ Barea over Lillard? Or Salmons over Barnes? We need someone who can evaluate talent; not a Jeff Van Gundy.
Vlade Divac is now the man in Sactown once again!
Needing to find a GM quickly, Boen went with King's legend Vlade Divac. "Vlade plays the game the right way and will do a good job with the organization" said Boen. Though Vlade declined to comment much immediately, citing an urgent need to clean Rex's mess up as the reason, he did say "I am happy to be a part of the King's organization once again, and will try my best to give them something I could not as a player; an NBA Title!"
