I accept
I have been talking with Jay about this for a couple months now. I pick up a player I like in Oubre Jr along with the player I had ranked #13 on my board.
This will take me over Hard Cap next season but I have plenty of time to figure it out as well as there are no rules in place for expiring Dead contracts so this trade is legal!
This now gives us some major depth for next year along with a great prospect

Overall this is acceptable to me. The Hawks clearly want a max contract slot for free agency. The problem here is that with the salary difference of paying Oubre and the salary scale contract for the 27th pick ($1,696,900), the Kings total salary will be $169,166,011 next season, which is a little more than $500k over the hard cap.
I know we typically don't count rookie contracts until after the offseason, but in the case of the hard cap, the cap is the cap. I think this trade as is should be illegal because it takes the Kings over. The easy fix here though would be to include Skylar Mays.

Hawks can't trade the pick until the start of FA because of the Stepien rule.
By then boban contract doesn't exist anymore, which also brings up how we should fix the confusion of just allowing to trade some expirings.

I think I get where Jerry is coming from - for this trade to happen, you need to both have Boban's expiring $7m still exist and the Hawks' 27th pick be legally tradable at the same time.
The Hawks can't trade their 27th pick before salaries roll because they don't have their 2022 1st, and if they wait till salaries roll then Boban comes off the books and the Kings don't have 7m in cap space or expiring contracts to make the trade work under the 125 rule.
Have to reject because there isn't a way this trade works under the rules as it is this year or the next.

The Hawks can just draft Kispert themselves then trade his draft rights, which can be done because the draft happens prior to salaries advancing to the next season. It's all technicalities, we've definitely had trades like this before. I think the hard cap problem was the only unique issue here.

If that's the case then sure, the trade is fine in terms of value, but I really can't remember a similar example off the top of my head.

I will be including Skylar Mays to make this legal Jay Z Re-accepting. This is a cap move first and foremost. Was hoping Oubre was going to show out a little more this past season but that didn't work out, so he was the odd man out when it came to opening up max cap room.

I need to take a good look at this to see if this is really a loophole worth closing but I accept.

Trade #5 — similar to the points being made on AD to PHX, has a contract that can’t be traded (Boban) and therefore is illegal
