Kinda under the radar, but RJ is averaging 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists on 45/38/74 percentages.
I think he's a borderline 80 level player now.

Sir, how can you in good faith vote an 81 on Edwards and a 77 on Barrett? Even taking into account Edwards' recent stretch of good play, these votes don't make sense. In the 22 games since Saunders was fired, Edwards has averaged 23 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, on 42/32/79 shooting. In RJ's last 22 games, he's averaged 19 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, on 48/46/74 shooting. He's also turned the ball over less than Edwards, all while shooting significantly more efficiently. Unless you think that Edwards has a 4 point difference in defensive ability than Barrett (he doesn't - if anything, advanced stats point heavily towards RJ being the better defender), then this voting discrepancy is inexplicable. I'm a big fan of Edwards and think he's had solid play this year and shows a lot of promise. You simply can't excuse this sort of vote, though. |

How is Edwards 4 points better than Barrett? He’s 100% not 4 points better, but let’s at least be consistent with the caliber of players we’re talking about here. If averaging 23/5/3 for nearly 2 months gets you a 77-78, then this is my vote for Barrett. Simple as that. |
