Moses Brown is about to lock his future for the next 4 years. You would think he has a good offer to do so. But it's barely above league minimum for those 4 years.
Would he ever take that contract in real life? Not a chance. I'm tired of seeing players like Boucher getting taken advantage off and losing million in their careers, and so I'm standing up for them.
I'm proposing a new rule, that from now on players without an agent can only be offered 2 year deals with an optional 3rd year player option, otherwise we are losing any kind of realism in these contracts.
I see a lot of "fuck the owners" attitude and people defending players rights here and on discord. So put your money where your mouth this and let's make this change for the sake of our players.

I think this is overreacting for a guy with just a few good games. Every once in a while a guy gets signed and ends up on a super cheap contract, but that happens in real life too. More often than not these guys are a flash in the pan and don't go on to be anything more than a role player. The bidding for Moses Brown is nowhere near finished either. Who knows where it ends up at. It's more likely he'll get a contract above his market value than below it given the auction format.

For example: Saben Lee sucks.

This could also protect teams from making mistakes on Saban Lee's, tbh.

Do we need to save teams from mistakes?

If every GM here was forced to manage their team forever, no.
In a glorified fantasy for fun only league with regular turnover (1-2 teams a year seems to be average), yes.

You think, them having a PA is better?
That idea is wrong.
