I accept. Capela is a legit starting C who can help me solidify a playoff spot while keeping a max slot for the offseason. I liked Bryant but his ACL tear plus lack of defense worries me long term. Zach Collins has also been injured a lot. Also the trade has to be queued till December 15th in-game since Bryant was signed in the offseason

My basic reasoning:
I wanted to go to the playoffs and take a chance in the West this year. My team is just underperforming in a huge way, and I'm tired of it.
So, I'm jumpstarting the tank by trading away my 2nd-highest rated player while getting a younger player at the same position who I do like but who is out for the season. Washington's staff appears to love Bryant, and he was putting up some very good numbers before he got hurt.
Taj gives Utah a really nice backup big man, and me taking Collins clears some space for Utah next year.
Hopefully, more trades to come here in Minnesota.

Feel like you could get more for Capela, and I don't think Thomas Bryant is going to be special, but I accept.

Feel like you could get more for Capela, and I don't think Thomas Bryant is going to be special, but I accept. Bryant's development will be a huge part of the trade for sure. I like him. His contract is fantastic (assuming I am at all correct about him being pretty good). I will say, there aren't THAT many teams willing to give up an asset I want and take on ~20M in cap, with a need at C. There are also manager in this league who probably don't even want a Center like Capela in general. He can't shoot at all or create for himself, etc. Anyway, I am happy with it. I tried to get some 2nds, or even one 2nd, and Tim was stubborn about it, but I like Bryant enough to go for it. We'll see.
