Jamal received many offers, but has decided to sign with the [blue]Minnesota Timberwolves[/blue]
Year 1: $10,000,000
While a one-year contract was not ideal for Crawford, we felt that the Timberwolves offered him a great place to play for the season and then try his luck again next year. After seeing the dollar value that other players commanded this offseason, Jamal was disappointed that no team besides the now guard-heavy Suns offered him more than the MLE. Minnesota is perhaps not the best situation for Jamal, but he is willing to try the team out for a year and see where things go from there.

The TWolves are very happy to welcome Jamal to the Twin cities! He will find it is actually great up here, and Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio, and Nicolas Batum are a great group of guys to hang with!
Woot, starting SG!
Woot, still have money next year to sign my players back!

Thanks. I wasn't planning on doing much in FA, since I wanted to save money for re-signing Batum (and Hickson) next season, but this is way better than just sitting on it.
