Tyus is returning to the New Orleans Pelicans.
While we hoped for a little more stability (longer offer) or an increased role, unfortunately this was really the only offer we had on the table. With a solid price-point, we felt willing to accept the 2nd year Team Option as part of the deal, and quite honestly, didn't have much leverage here, lol.
Tyus does, after all of that being said, truly look forward to returning to New Orleans with a team full of up-and-coming players.
Year 1: $4,000,000
Year 2: $3,700,000 (Team Option)
