Kelly had one other good offer from the Indiana Pacers. It's hard to pull a young Bird rights free agent off a team they've been with since their rookie season. It would've been a nice opportunity, but there was no real argument against leaving the Hawks. Kelly is excited to get back to work and continue to help the Hawks improve and become one of the best teams in the east.

Love this contract for the Hawks. Great value, great contract length, and I think a great sign for an up and coming team to re-sign a young player like Oubre. If he can't excel in Golden State, he's a lost cause, and I think he'll do well there.
