The Brooklyn Nets have re-signed one of my top clients, Kristaps Porziņģis, to a 5-year max deal worth $158,481,949
Year 1: $27,285,000 Year 2: $29,331,375 Year 3: $31,377,750 Year 4: $33,424,125 Year 5: $35,470,500
Kristaps top choice from the start was to return to Brooklyn who acquired him a few years ago. He's hoping to bring a championship to the city who believed in him from the start.

So this has been happening for years, but these contracts are wrong. Annual raises don't get compounded. It's 7.5% of the initial offer and Ian lays out the example pretty clearly. I'm not sure if it's easier for Ian Noble to rewrite the rule or if we should all be nitpicky about this, but Kristaps contract should be: Year 1: $27,285,000 Year 2: $29,331,375 Year 3: $31,377,750 Year 4: $33,424,125 Year 5: $35,470,500

This would impact the Booker contract as well... and any other offers I've sent out to PAs.

Thanks Alex English, to be honest it had slipped my mind also. I've amended Bryan Colangelo's original post in this thread for my administrative purposes. I'll also amend the Devin Booker thread if it needs doing.
