Jameer has taken a look at all of the offers, and has come to a decision. While both Memphis and Orlando put in generous offers on Jameer, Mr. Nelson has decided to stay loyal to an organization that has remained loyal to him for a very long time.
Jameer's contract with the Orlando Magic is as follows:
Year 1: $10,000,000
Year 2: $10,500,000
Year 3: $11,000,000 (Player Option)
Year 4: $11,000,000 (Team Option)
Jameer is excited to play with new-comer Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and thinks that along with Roy Hibbert and David West, among other very solid complimentary players, the Magic have a chance to make some noise.
