We would like to announce that Kris has signed with the Utah Jazz for:
Year 1: $2,500,000 Year 2: $3,000,000 Year 3: $3,500,000 Year 4: $4,000,000 Year 5: $4,500,000
We felt this was the best offer he has received and feels Utah is moving in the right direction with the recent moves they made.

Hump for 2.5 is the steal of the offseason. Good signing Utah.

Humphries will get paid $17.5 M in 5 seasons. In real life, he got $24M in 2 seasons.
Humphries would have never accepted this deal in real life. He would have rather signed a short term deal like he did for the 2011/12 season.

Who are you and where did you come from? lol. Anyways, Hump accepted this deal for a few reasons. One being this was the only deal he got offered. Two, Utah is putting together a very nice squad and Humphries liked the direction of the team so much that he felt comfortable taking this deal to play for a contender in the west.

Who are you and where did you come from? lol. I am former Bobcats assistant. I am thinking about getting a new assistant position in the league. I think that Humphries would have rather waited for a new offer to come in real life or take less years. That is just my opinion. If the time came, once people saw he was the best available PF he would hace received much better offers. Also, he will be a substitute in Utah to Boozer and Gortat.
