Guess I posted this thread too soon. Jamal posting: 17.7ppg 4.7rpg 2.0apg 39/36/68 to start the season. And first game he hit one shot. James I'll just help you out here mate, you forgot to follow up that Jamal Murray posted 31/4/5 and 2 steals on 4/8 3PT shooting and now he's averaging 21/4.5/2.8 on 45/40/74. You're welcome

He's already getting a boost. Honestly, the 87 feels too high. By at least one OVR if not two.

Sort of stuck tbh. Like, I've already worked up the changes, I just have to log into the game when I have an hour or two and make the changes for this batch.
Wait a month or two and put in a lower thread I guess...
I tried to put as many "extra" points (IMO) into things like maybe a little extra Offensive or Defensive Rebounding, type of thing. So, I tried to make his FG / 3PT / FT / Inside accurate, and then when we have extra points, put them into things where it shouldn't make as big of an impact.
Overall I don't think it's wildly out of the realm of his skills but I definitely found myself massaging things.

I look forward to requesting the same to happen to my Conference rivals when the opportunity arises. Or do we need a playoff-build of some players and a regular season build? I'll be thrilled to have a 90+ Jamal Murray when it matters and a low-80s Murray outside of it.

The point I'm trying to make is,using the same stats and details I use for every player,to put their individual categories in place,Jamal was one of those who really felt like he had extra points lying around. So, he's rated fairly and accurately to his skillet in a consistent manner with every other change I've made. And once that was done, I had an extra 10-25 points that made him probably a better rebounder, and "stronger" than he really "should" be. He's certainly getting credit for the things he does well, and then some. He's not getting shafted.

Turns out its a completely broken stat we didn't find out about until now and Jamal Murray becomes the best player on the celtics.
At least that's what I expect
