Ersan Ilyasova has decided to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks.
After interest from lots of different teams there really was no other team more devoted to acquiring his services than Milwaukee, and none that offered him the better combination of playing time and money. After the Denver Nuggets were unwilling to match Glenn Robinson's offer, the Bucks avid interest was enough to stem the flow of endless offers.

Eh, maybe not, its just a very high risk signing.
Dude is only getting 23 mpg this season, averaging 6.3 ppg on 32% shooting. Mike Dunleavy has essentially replaced him in the lineup and I wouldn't be surprised to see Ilyasova benched soon. Locking him up for that much for 4 years could really come back to hurt Milwaukee if he keeps struggling.

I'm not too worried about it. Ersan is a rhythm player and just hasn't found his groove yet considering all the rotations Skiles uses. Dunleavy hasn't replaced him by any means as Dunleavy is in a rotation with Harris at the small forward spot. Ilyasova is struggling but I think he can still produce and I think he'll get out of his slump soon. If he does get benched, it will be in favor of John Henson, but I don't think Henson has established his role in the rotation just yet as Udoh and Sanders make up the front court coming off the bench and Ilyasova and Dalembert get the start.

The guy went from looking like a breakout star last season to being terrible to start this season, like Josh said it definitely has the potential to backfire on Milwaukee.

Haha naw, I could've matched. I'm hoping to essentially trade him for Danny Green and the guy who I've offered you a contract for. We want him in Denver and we gotta have the highest offer |
