Omer Asik has signed with the Sacramento Kings.
After the Bulls refused to match other teams' offers it came down to two teams in the end, Sacramento and Milwaukee, and both teams were very close. Both GMs absolutely harassed me for Asik's services, both GMs presented situations to my client that would have offered him the starting Center spot. Both teams were the two teams who really had A++ drafts this year too.
In the end it had to come down to playing time as the deciding factor and Sacramento honestly don't even have another Center, whereas Omer would have Andre Drummond breathing down his neck in Milwaukee threatening to take away minutes.
For this reason, Asik has signed with the Kings and is looking forward to joining a lineup that's so oozing with potential it's getting crusty around the edges (what, Ian, really?).
Year 1: $8,208,000 Year 2: $9,110,000 Year 3: $9,600,000 Year 4: $10,000,000 Year 5: [teal]$11,000,000[/teal]
Total: $47,918,000

It sounds like the two teams with the best draft in 2012 were competing against each other for Mr. Asik's service. The Kings are honored that Mr. Asik picked us over the Bucks, as we know they are a first class organization. This signing shows how far we have come as an organization, and we look forward to seeing Mr. Asik bring some size to a very small front line.

A Ibaka + Asik frontcourt is scary defensively, add a big-time scorer and you got a really good team on your hands rex.

Kings vs. Bobcats is going to be 2015 NBA Finals. And Thomas Robinson will be the finals MVP. If you say that out loud people will think you are crazy.
