JR Smith has agreed to sign with the [blue]Memphis Grizzlies[/blue] for the following contract:
Year 1: $8,255,750 Year 2: $9,163,882 Year 3: $10,171,909 Year 4: $10,171,909 PO
A lot of teams showed interest in JR, but he felt that the Grizzlies offered a great contract and a great situation where he can step up and be the star player for the organization.

Welcome to Memphis, Swish.
We're looking forward to your competitive spirit in the great city. We are in the process of getting the rest of your team built. We are unsure what the roster will look like by the start of the training camp, but we assure you, it will be a much more competitive squad than we are fielding right now.

Great pick up for Memphis. IRL, He's out of the bars and clubs after games. I'm more content than ever with this signing and believe he will provide down the season and need a rating increase before the year's out.

Everyone needs that guy that can take lead an offense and you got your man. He can be a pseudo-star kind of like the Pacers made Danny Granger (a guy who is a number one option but not really a number one option caliber player).

He can put the ball in that hole; that's forsure.
