They've been updated to this point. Get the real version up to date, and then we can talk. These are pre-season, like before pre-season.

I've been looking for the updated list online. Help me or I can look at the game since I bought it and post the ratings that way...

Every basketball fan will have their own opinions but if we go by the most updated game, to me it will more accurate.

These ratings only help the bigger market teams and star players. There are tons of names on this list that should be much higher, and other names that should be much lower. Like Lucas said, Kemba is way better at this point than Avery Bradley is. And I find it laughable that Monta Ellis is 6 points higher than Brandon Jennings, when Jennings leads the league in steals, averages more assists per game, and is only trailing Monta in points by a few. Like I said, these ratings are inflated on bigger market teams and star players. The rest of the league is crap. With that said, there still is a lot of ratings that could be changed with our current ratings we use, and I never said it was perfect, but it's more fair to all teams. With a little tweaking, we can get it to where everyone is happy.

The ratings we have now would be easier to adjust than switching to those and adjusting from there.

I love the game but really hate the way they compute overalls. I mean Dirk an 85? that's pretty insulting.

wow just few years ago around 2k same time everyone was ridiculously high, now that the super MORON AKA Rashidi (who calls himself the TRUE NBA2K INSIDER or whatever that crap means), everyone's ratings are taking a hit.
yeah no way these ratings are even justifiable, I rather US ARGUE for HOURS which player should deserve better rating then this piece of shit.

I just think we should use the ratings and based off that adjust them. I just think most of the ratings here are off.

Same thing goes for Iman Shumpert, it's ridiculous that he's an 80. I think this thread is pretty useless though. 2k13 isn't very user-friendly and it's all Ian's choice anyway. The sims we have now a pretty realistic and it's not like we have to watch all of EA's awful 7 year old animations so I don't see why we need to switch.
