Current: 79
Per Game: 23.6 PTS | 6.8 REBS | 2.2 ASTS | 58.9% FG | 0.3 3PM | 0.8 STL | 0.5 BLK
I do not have the luxury to wait because of the break.
Let me give my vote after running through the attributes as current rated.
OAware 80+5 = More of the overall impact as shown by PIPM FG 75 3PT 46 FT 60+10 = More about his free-throw rate. Inside 80 +19 = The guy is scoring in the 0-3 feet at an insane rate. He is making 8.0 shots in that area, compared to the 2.8 of a Joel Embiid (Inside is 91) and 5.2 of Lebron (Inside is 97) Dunk 60 Pass 25 Handle 55
DAware 63+13 = not an above average defender but his size and physique alone make him competent. Steal 55 Block 51 OffReb 60 DefReb 55
Speed 79+6 = eyetest Quick 79+6 = eyetest Jump 85+8 = Lebron is still at 90. I think, Zion should be higher. Strong 80+15 = He is already pushing centers like they are not even there. Fatigue 77- 8 = eyetest
Total = 74 / 5 = +4.933
So, 84.

82 — appreciate the thoroughness of the argument for mid 80s, but two areas I’d scale back. First, he’s barely a 64% FT shooter despite that high attempt rate, so asking for a 70 seems like a bit much on that attribute.
Second, yes he has the potential to be awesome defensively, but outside of some highlight blocks, his defensive tape has been a classic rookie big: confused and all over the place. Therefore, I think that defensive awareness rating still should stay lower until he demonstrates that he can make the plays on a more consistent basis— not just when they are falling in his lap

I'm not sure what Zion should be rated after only 19 games, but I do fear we are getting into a bit of a weird situation with the IRL Pelicans:
87 Jrue Holiday 80 JJ Redick 85 Brandon Ingram 84 Zion Williamson 79 Derrick Favors
77 E'Twaun Moore 76 Josh Hart 74 Lonzo Ball (who should actually be increased)
We have this team rated like a D5 powerhouse, yet they are 10/11th seed in the West. Even with Zion they have had a losing record.
Not necessarily saying Zion doesn't deserve an increase, but are we really comfortable saying that the sum of its parts is greater than the whole for a mediocre Pelicans team? I haven't added up the ratings, but I have a suspicion we would be rating the Pelicans higher than teams clearly better like Nuggets, Thunder, Mavs, Grizzlies, as well as teams that are pretty much equivalent in standings like Kings, Spurs, Suns.

I agree. Williamson probably does need to be an 80+, but some of the Pelicans players are overrated. Having said that, we can't disregard system, player fit, and coaching. And sometimes players are better on paper than real life outcomes. I mean the 2013 Lakers were a disappointment but individually rated, probably the best team in the league that year, maybe besides the Heat.

Kind of hate the sample size issue here but this is what it's likely going to be this year...
I'll go 83
