The kings accept Fred has been playing some nice ball this year, but with no bird rights on him we will simply not be able to resign him in the off-season so why not take advantage of his strong play by picking up a good looking rookie with alot of upside in naw! I was high on him during the draft and I have liked what I've seen out of him so far this season! We also pick up a young player in Frank that has struggled but I'm still holding out hope he will figure it out 🙏 He shows glimpses every now and than of what he can be!

Did Amare just hustle Larry by pretending to be incompetent with the Rockets?? Ok, I admit I suck at the trial process, but I'm just fine when I'm running my own team!

I accept.
This will give me a starting point guard. I get a young small forward and a 2nd round pick.

Sacramento is DOMINATING the long-term value here. I'm kinda close to rejecting, to be honest.
I'm not comfortable being the vote to pass this, at least not yet.

Just out of curiosity, does Van Fleet come with Bird Rights? Or would he need to be resigned out of available cap only?

Just out of curiosity, does Van Fleet come with Bird Rights? Or would he need to be resigned out of available cap only? This is very inexact but I don't think I've ever seen a 3rd/4th/5th year of a rookie-level contract end in such a clean $3,000,000 number. Not positive but I am basing my thoughts above on VanVleet being non-BR's.

Trade passed.
I should've included this in my EOTY write up for Larry, he definitely wins this deal, just not enough to reject it.
