Been lots of Up threads, but there are definitely guys who deserve a Down from their current status, and Avery Bradley is one of them. Compared to last season when he was with the Grizzlies to now playing for the Lakers, all major counting stats (PPG, APG, RPG, etc.) are down, he is shooting very poorly (46% FG/23% 3PM on 3 attempts a game/70% FT (down from 86% last year on that last one), and he has steadily declined for years via his advanced metrics to now adding literally negative value (-2.4 BPM) when he’s on the floor. His usage rate is about the same as last year (15% vs. 16%), so this is straight up decline as opposed to a guy losing opportunities.
In short, a 77 is generous for him, especially when looking at that contract he’s got and his BPM has been in negative territory overall for eight straight seasons (with declines or holding steady in negative for six of those last eight).
Current rating: 77
Suggested rating: 74

Though to your point, doesn’t drive anything with his rating— his play speaks for that

So, if it is an increase thread, we here a lot of, "need to see more". But if it is a down thread, 14 games is enough.
14 games?
Compare then his 14 games with Memphis last year when his usage rate was 22.9% and he has a lot more responsibilities to his current 14 games where he has to fulfill his role of a 3-and-D PG.
