Just getting some of my guys updated now that the season is over. Not a fan of making 2 threads in a year, but Troy Bolton jumped the gun a bit in Collins' first thread and made it after only 12 games. End of Season Stats: 19.5 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 2.0 apg 56% FG 34.8% 3p He has a +6.3 On/Off and incredible has a +7 net rating on the not-so-great Hawks (compared to Trae Young's -2.5 on/off and -10 net rating). He's also average over 1 block per game since the allstar break. Anyway, he sorta does it all, rebounding, 3p shooting, pick and roll. Still improving on defense but seriously did make great strides post-ASB. Current Rating: 80 Suggested Rating: 83

83 - he has made huge strides and is still just 22 years old after two full seasons in the league

82, showed a lot of potential last year on defense but this year flopped on that end of the court. Him being higher than Jarret Allen just shows much we devalue defense next to offense.

I'm wary of basing player ratings 95% on stats. The quality of the team around them and their W/L record should matter more than it does imho.
Last season for the Hawks, Dennis Shroder was their leading scorer at 19.4ppg and earned an 81 rating as a result. This season his minutes remain almost unchanged and he's regressed in OKC statistically because he's playing for a half-decent team.
The Hawks improved by only 5 wins this season.
John Collins averaged an almost identical 19.5ppg this season and, like with Devin Booker and other above-average players on terrible teams, outside the efficiency stats they're kinda empty stats. Would he be more than a roleplayer for OKC in real life?

I like him. 81. He gets up to 36+% 3pt shooting look out.
