One of the most if not the most under the radar player in the league, Jake Layman should become what Chandler Parson was. After playing 70 games in his first 2 years with an average of around 6 minutes per game, Jake Layman has become the 6th man and occasional starter for this Portland team (but most importantly, he is on the floor at the end of the games) He is currently averaging 8 points and 3 rebounds per game, with a crazy 63% TS for a SF (53% FG, 36% 3FG, 73 FT%) despite of half of his shots being 3 points shots.
Despite shooting so many 3's that's not where Layman shines the most, his athleticism and size make him a good defender and even better slasher, using the threat of his 3PT shot to get to the rim at will.
