Jokic is a given to make the playoff this year, they are 2nd in the West and had key injuries all year. True, there's a difference there, but there is a part of me that feels it's a threshold that should be crossed first. What about DMC? First action to the playoffs was on the bench.

True, there's a difference there, but there is a part of me that feels it's a threshold that should be crossed first. That's fine if your splitting hairs between two amazing players. We're talking about one kid who was maybe the 3rd or 4th best player on the team. Who was being lauded for this amazing defense but not even being the best defender on the team. It was a GREAT playoff series for him so young. But this is also a dude who averaged 14 ppg more turnovers than assists and less defensive stats than players getting less minutes than him. It never added up.
