McGee has had a surprisingly solid year for the Lakers. He's been asked to do a lot more this year and he's become one of the Lakers' most consistent players (which isn't saying much). McGee went from playing 9.5 minutes a game the last two years in Golden State to playing 23.1 minutes per game and being their full time starter. As a result his points and rebounds per game have jumped up from 4.8 ppg and 2.6 rpg to 11.1 ppg and 6.9 rpg. The Lakers' have also posted a net rating of 11 with him on the floor with a defensive rating of 102 and an offensive rating of 113 (according to basketball-reference). He's also fourth in the league with 2.3 blocks per game and third in the league in blocks per foul ratio with .90.
