Current: 90 Proposed: 95 Jojo's putting up Shaq numbers since the start of this season, he's hugely improved across the board. Embiid's widely recognised as the best big in the game (although I don't think you can say he's better than 96 - Anthony Davis) and his 19-10 Sixers are 3rd in the East (joint-4th in the entire NBA). Since his last rating change he led the Sixers to the Conference Semis in his second year in the league. He's currently #5 on the MVP Ladder, he's been near the top all season so far. Stats: 26.5ppg 13.3rpg 3.6apg 1.9bpg
47 / 31 / 81 splits I feel like these ratings could use use a bump: Fatigue- 85 (9th highest in total minutes played, Top 30 in MPG, significantly more MPG than when he had his last rating change) Block - 78 (7th in BPG, last season's 3rd place for DPOY) Free Throws - 76 (shooting career high 80%FT, up 4% on last year) Defensive Rebounding - 92 (1st in NBA Defensive RPG) Offensive Rebounding - 78 (only in the Top 30 for Offensive RPG, but currently 4th in overall RPG) Field Goals & Inside Scoring - 75 & 84 (currently 6th in NBA PPG)
Trust The Process everybody.

I'll go 92. He's really good. But he's not really that close to AD, especially in terms of D5 ratings points. AD is leading the league in PER, VORP, WS, WS/48. AD gets more points, more offensive rebounds, more assists, more steals, more blocks, less turnovers, less fouls, on better FG%, 3P%, and FT%. And what's crazy about AD's per game stats is that they're actually almost all worse than last season.
There's absolutely more than a 1 point difference between Joel and AD. But maybe that's not a fair comparison, and maybe AD should be rated higher.
Despite that, I don't actually think Joel's fatigue needs to be changed. He's still very easily tired, gets gassed in the 4th, and will have bad stretches when he's played too often. He's still rather turnover prone, and he's very foul prone as well - 4th overall in the league for fouls, behind only JJJ, KAT, and Randle. His AST/TO ratio is one of the worst in the game.
I also want to point out that "47 / 31 / 81 splits" is not accurate. He's shooting 46.6/29.8/79.3 according to bballreference. Maybe the FG% could be rounded up but the 3P% and FT% are not accurate.
But he's also #1 in free throws and defensive rebounds, #6 in scoring, and #4 in rebounding, so some rating points could be added to reflect that.

I'm going 94, dude is elite. What was dwights rating when he was in Orlando? Cuz I think embiid should be rated similar. Dwight was more athletic and better on d but embiid has way better back to the basket skill and can obviously shoot way better. There's literally nothing embiid is truly weak at.

I agree with James Kay that it’s hard to put Embiid above AD from a rating perspective given the raw and advanced stats mentioned. Plus I’d have a hard time putting Embiid on the same level as Giannis, who has been a one man wrecking crew 92

Joel sees your 93 average and spits upon it in disgust! How about his game versus Indiana where he put up 28 and 14 in the first half and then did basically nothing but turn the ball over for the 2nd half... does he spit upon his fatigue rating?

He followed it up yesterday against Indiana with 40pts 21reb so, on balance, I'm all good with it

That's a 24 & 14 full-game pace... Seems pretty decent... Tired-Embiid can put up 24 and 14 per game. I may up my rating...
