Kicks ass in all player impact stats:
Wins per 48 minutes: 0.211 (18th in NBA)
Real Plus-Minus: +3.94 (18th in NBA)
Boxscore Plus-Minus: +5.4 (16th in NBA)
Player Impact Plus Minus: +3.92 (14th in NBA)
VORP: 1.6 (12th in NBA)
Siakam has to be the leading contender for the MIP. He's taken a nice step forward this year after showing flashes of his talent in his first few years. His stats are solid, but I think you really have to watch the Raptors to see how much he impacts the game. It's clear why all advanced stats love this guy if you see the games. I've been a big believer that he's an All-Star if he ever becomes a legit three point shooter. He's been respectable this year from three, but another step up in this area would open up his game so much.
He does a lot of extra things too that I think impact his ratings. He's a PF that will need 90+ ratings in speed and quickness. He needs a solid handle rating because he beats guys off the dribble easily. He needs a 90+ in defensive awareness. He's shown flashes of good playmaking too. All the traditional categories that you expect a post player to be bad at don't really apply for Siakam because of his crazy athleticism and dribbling ability. He's just an excellent two-way player that's just starting to realize his potential imo.
