I know it’s only 23 games in for Rose, but he’s having a year he hasn’t had since the 2016-17 season where he was with the NY Knicks. In that year, he averaged:
In this season, in three less mpg (29) compared to that 2016-17 season, Rose off the bench for the most part (only started 5/23 games thus far) is averaging:
Now I’ll admit I think his torrid start will cool at some point, but his rating based on D5 archives for 2016-17 with the aforementioned stats was 85. I don’t think in anyway he should move up that high, but I do think the below increase is reasonable based on his play:

- 18.0 ppg on 15 attempts at a 47% clip (with a dismal 23% from 3) in 32 mpg
- 2:1 Assists to TO on 4.4 apg to 2.3 TOVs
- 98.07 PACE adjusted rating, with near identical splits (high 98 at home, mid 97 on the road) on a usage rate of 25%
- Effective FG % at 47 and True Shooting % of 53

- 102.93 PACE adjusted rating, with similar split trends to 2016-17 (nearly the same at home vs. on the road) on a lower usage rate (24%) than 2016-17
- Effective FG % at 56 and True Shooting % of 59
