Troy Bolton has undergone a monstrous transformation from short white High School Musical kid into the most dominant center of all time, Shaquille O'Neal. Like our old friend Aubrey Graham, Troy Bolton took advantage of my terrible pop culture knowledge and, like Native Americans being called "Indians", I've known for a long time he had the wrong name and it needed changing, and we've finally got around to it. Arise Shaquille O'Neal!

What is wrong with using the term Indian? It is a generational distinction. American Indian, Native American, etc. Indian usually means an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe. I am sure they wouldn't even want to be called Native Americans, but rather their actual tribe affiliation. PC is out of control.

Speaking as a loud overconfident trans queer homophobic black jewish mother of three adopted disabled tamil children you're a bigoted evil space nazi.

Is there a group that definitely is against the word? Sure. We have protests in Cleveland all the time because of the baseball team, but it is not because of the name, it is because of the caricature - which I understand fully.

Supposedly the history more or less goes like this: I'm not sure if it's true that they were called Indians because Christopher Columbus is a dickhead, or if it's just a pop culture factoid, but if it's true then I could get why they wouldn't like the name.

As I mentioned, I am sure they would prefer to be called by their tribal affiliation. So calling them native Americans or indigenous people is just as bad. Pissing in the wind arguments. Shouldn’t have engaged.

Shaquille O'Neal also requested, so I delivered, a temporary Vice flair since it looks so nice and the Heat are rocking that look right now. Miami Heat
