Andre Iguodala is extremely happy to sign with the Houston Rockets with a chance to start on a highly competitive Western Conference team. Year 1: $3,568,000 Year 2: $3,835,600 Year 3: $4,103,200 (Player Option) Total: $11,506,800 Andre strongly considered offers from the Lakers and the Pacers during this process, but ultimately decided the Rockets had the best chance to compete of the 3 teams, and offered a slightly clearer path to starting and just generally playing more minutes, compared to the Pacers especially. Congratulations to Charles Barkley and the Houston Rockets!

I mean, that is what I said. Good job quoting me. That's a subjective term, I'm sure we could argue it if we wanted to but I think they're set up to be "highly competitive", yes. Thunder are gone. Warriors are still the cream of the crop, but the Nuggets, Grizzlies, Rockets, and perhaps a couple of other teams have a chance at sneaking into #2. I was #2 just the season before this past one myself.
