I accept. I take Henderson despite Carroll. I have nothing else to say.

I accept
- I lose Henderson, but i get rid of Matt Carroll in exchange of:
- Ryan Gomes to be my starting SF (Magette can play SG in my mind) And two players that are better than half of my bench

I think player ratings can deceive you guys. Over time we'll work in the Stock Watch Discussion to make them more realistic.
The best player Charlotte's getting (Ryan Gomes) averaged 2.3ppg, 1.9rpg, 0.4apg. The best player the Clippers get (Gerald Henderson) averaged 15.1ppg, 4.1rpg, 2.3apg
Sure they're 75 and 76 rated but, in the big scheme of things, Charlotte is giving away a serviceable player (Henderson) in exchange for Ryan Gomes who's noticeably declined in recent years.
The rest is just fodder, so I'm inclined to reject this guys.
If it was not the Bobcats, it might be ok, but the Bobcats seriously need to make as much as possible with the little talent they have or face many years of failure.
Still waiting to hear from Aubrey and Isiah though.

I think player ratings can deceive you guys. Over time we'll work in the Stock Watch Discussion to make them more realistic. This is my 1st season so i am absolutely clueless about how much ratings can change during season, how often and what criteria is used and if changes are made for all players or only some. When we made the deal at least i had in mind that the ratings for those 2 players would not change during season. I guess i will have a tough time adjusting to how the league works.

Rating changes are made if/when GMs post about players in the Stock Watch Discussion. After a discussion and a general agreement is made I make changes. Also I'll personally review them every once in a while.
I don't think you're ripping off the Bobcats in this trade, but I do think they need a bit of special treatment because their lineup sucks so much.
Lucas - if after what I've said you come back and still want to make this trade, I will accept it.

Of course i want to improve the Bobcats, but i'm realistic, it's very hard to go to the playoffs this season.
My main concern in this season is to open salary cap to the next free agency without losing my two prospects (Kemba and Biyombo), i hate to lose Henderson in this trade, but Carroll's contract is terrible and i'm opening a good salary cap to next season.
To me, the focus of the trade isn't Henderson for Gomes, but getting rid of a bad contract for next season and having to give away one of my starters.
If Gomes don't do well as a starter i have DJ Augustin that can start on my team.
My lineup sucks, but i don't expect to change it a lot this season, of course i don't want to suck as the Real Bobcats, but this is only the first trade of many i'm planning to do in this rebuilding season.
I accept the trade because i get rid of one of my bad contracts and get a player that hopefully can be a starter on my poor lineup.

Well you have to look at it from the committee's point of view. If we were to ever have to replace you for whatever reason(not saying we will but "if") the new GM will be at a disadvantage without Henderson in my opinion. Especially with you replacing him with Gomes? And you say "if Gomes doesn't do well as a starter" Where are you planning on starting him? Where are you going to put Augustin if he doesn't do well? Shooting Guard? Good luck with that. Henderson and Carroll's salary might just be worth keeping if that's the case. Unless you're wanting just to throw this season away.
This isn't meant to step on anybody's toes but, in my opinion this is me doing my job as a Trade Committee Member. That is all.

I agree with Boston, Gomes is coming off quite a poor season and Henderson is one of the Bobcat's better players. What CHA will be saving in salary next season (2M) doesn't offset the differential in talent of what he's getting. So I'm gonna have to reject this trade. Sorry guys.

I said I'd accept if Lucas said he wanted to, but Mr Lutkus your justifications - as Miami pointed out - are really flawed. You'll only save $2million in salary, it's just not enough.
It kinda sucks this is the first trade, because it's receiving more criticism than most trades would do and I don't want to set a negative example, but I feel that the Bobcats are in a precarious position and we really do need to reject this.
I reject also. Sorry guys that makes two of us and Miami's obviously not convinced either.

trade looked good from bobcats POV
henderson was owed 4M in a couple years...carroll a 66, 3.5 million. This was a good trade IMO
and give gomes those same shots that hederson got, he'd average 12-15 points as well.

The original Clippers owner has resigned.
I have put in a claim for the team but I would still accept this trade if the Bobcats still want to do it.
