After six days of waiting, we are happy to announce that Cody Zeller is signing with the Brooklyn Nets. We want to thank the franchise that drafted us, Atlanta Hawks. It was a fruitful six seasons but it seems like they move on from us as shown by the lack of a single call from them.
My client is now ready to join the loaded frontline rotation of the Nets.

Lack of Offers - We only received a single offer and that was from Brooklyn. We patiently waited for a call from Atlanta Hawks but within six days, they never showed any intention. That span should be enough to lose all their leverage as the Home team.
Market - We felt that the market for bigs was on the lowest point in history. With the Power Forwards free-agents capable of playing the Center position, it seems like the small market share for centers will now be divided to more players.
We are confident that the contract that we signed will be one of the best in terms of the amount for bigmen.
Opportunity - Josh was honest with his presentation to my client. He did not make any unrealistic promises and compromises. We saw the opportunity for Cody to show his value in the first few months or the entire season when KP is still on the injury list.
Josh promised the starting C spot for the upcoming season.
