Brook Lopez has agreed to come back to the Mile High city! Denver has been extremely loyal to Brook and gave him a very generous offer. Given that no other offers had come in and Brook's desire to stay on a championship contender, this was an easy decision to finish out his career with CP3 and Harden.
Year 1: $18,000,000 Year 2: $18,000,000 Year 3: $18,000,000 Year 4: $18,000,000 Year 5: $18,000,000
Total: $90,000,000
Brook is thrilled to make another run at the Larry O'Brien next season!

Welcome back! Brook was only 29 last season and was in a weird situation with the Lakers that saw his playing time and usage drop significantly. His per 36 numbers weren't much different from the rest of his career though. I think he can still be a top center in this league and this deal may end up being a bargain. We'll see how things play out.

Wow, great to see you're happy about keeping your guy! Don't think this deal will age well though, in my opinion.

Note: Normally Bird Rights signings are left until the end of OSFA before they're added to each team's salaries as a way to simulate loyal players giving their team the time they need to sign other players. But since Denver are far above the salary cap and this new contract is below Lopez's cap-hold I will add it to Denver's team salaries now.

Wow, great to see you're happy about keeping your guy! Don't think this deal will age well though, in my opinion. I could see it going either way to be honest. Brook Lopez isn't old though, which is the main difference between him and most other guys in similar positions. So I'll take the risk and hope he goes to a team that will give him the role that he deserves.
