Dwight Powell has agreed to a 4 year deal with the Washington Wizards for the full MLE. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar showed great commitment in re-signing Dwight, offering him the full MLE at the start of free agency and presenting an opportunity for Dwight to get playing time and develop alongside a young core.

As money is tight this year, we decided to go ahead and ink the contract as this checked all of the boxes for us and we did not want to risk losing the offer by waiting to see if any more came in.

Contract:
2017/18: $8,568,000 (MLE)
2018/19: $9,210,600
2019/20: $9,901,395
2020/21: $10,643,999 (PO)
