Bird Rights and Team Options

Bird Rights and Team Options can now be claimed until OSFA starts on July 1st!

For the new people, where would they do such a thing?

If we claim birds, and subsequently have a cap hold placed, then decide to move the team in a different direction, will we be able to renounce those rights to release the cap hold and retain cap immediately?

"A cap hold will be applied to your player/s salary until the player is signed."

Or are we stuck waiting for said player to sign with a new team until the cap space is free'd up.

This has not happened before - but I think that would be no problem at all.
