Philadelphia 76ers trade:
75 Jakob Poeltl - $2,275,000 | $2,373,000 (TO) | $3,023,202 (TO) | $4,096,439 72 Caleb Swanigan - $1,263,500 | $1,499,700 (TO) | $1,752,500 (TO) | $3,156,253 | $4,636,535 69 Monta Ellis - $13,450,534 | $14,930,092 (PO) 2020 2nd Round Pick (Pacers)
Total: $16,989,034
Utah Jazz trades:
78 Rondae Hollis-Jefferson - $1,744,200 | $2,673,859 (TO) | $3,738,054 72 Zach Collins - $2,917,600 | $3,463,100 | $4,046,500 (TO) | $5,147,148 (TO) |$6,938,356
Total: $4,661,800
This enables me to have a lineup of Brogdon-Clarkson-Brooks-RHJ-Collins while still having all my picks. I still have a top 10 pick this year to draft more talent in Philly.

I accept. I love Poeltl's potential as a player and he will be a great big man for my squad and Caleb Swanigan has been destroying in the G-League. Monta's contract is long, but I believe that it is not a heavy price to pay for 2 good prospects. A 2nd rounder also allows me to obtain some more talent in a super stacked 2018 draft class.

There aren't 4 more meaningless words in the english language than "destroying in the g-league"

I gotta be honest Elton, this trade is pretty bad. Hollis Jefferson is a flawed but on the rise prospect and Zach Collins has LOADS of potential.

I Wouldn't even do all of those lakers for just zach Collins let alone adding in a solid young wing in RHJ

This is bad. Talent wise, very uneven, plus Ellis' conttact for no reason.
Yikes

Elton brand you are a terrible gm bro. This is like your 3rd or 4th terrible trade here, you got fired from d720 for not paying attention. Im sorry and hate to sould like a arse but your the worst for real! I don’t know how to feel about this. I understand if the trade gets rejected, but this guy is just trying to make me look bad to get a job. Plus, he shouldn’t even be talking because he instantly gave up on Fultz and tried to trade him away for some useless pieces. Go back to 720.

Im not trying to get your job bro! You just have absolutely no clue what your doing. Every trade you make is horrible your team will be tanking every year your the gm no doubt about it. You have no clue what your doing and the simple fact you made a trade based on sim stats shows this exact point. Now this lmao, plus you were in the running for the laker job and now as jazz gm you are constantly getting reemed smdh. At least when i first started and granted made mistakes here i had zero experience in a sim league! Even my would have been fultz trade is miles ahead of this crap your trading here. And i have absolutely no problem being in 720 where im exceling by the way, you got fired there lmao you need to step down and let greg ohstertag take your place immediately! Damn, harsh.

Listen bud, I had no fucking time to run two teams in speerage leagues, dude. So if your excelling in 720, go back there instead of liking every post Ian makes to try to kiss his ass and get a job here. And this is my first sim league too, so I’m bound to make mistakes too. Now leave me the fuck alone.

It will be hard for the TCs to believe that you know what you are doing if you were looking at the 2020 2nd in the trade as a 2018 2nd

Sorry guys, I reject. Like Elton Brand says, he's new to sim leagues, and with the Jazz perched in a quite precarious place it's important to be extra critical with trades. Van Exel is being a dick here but, Mr Brand, although I think you're enduring the criticism here with exceptional stoicism, so far your trading record has taught me to be more thorough with the GM application process. You need a clear long-term strategy and maybe deeper NBA knowledge. We've had teams in the past who have steadily worsened when otherwise seemingly innocuous trades like this one get passed because they're just another drop in the ocean, but overall those teams end up in the gutter forever. I know Utah will still have Tatum and Fultz after this deal but only Tatum is a sure-thing, and Whiteside is a big question mark heading into this year's OSFA.

And speaking of Whiteside, the Collins for Poeltl swap works against re-signing Whiteside. Collins could play some pf WITH Whiteside but Poeltl is pretty much just a C, like Whiteside. I actually really like Collins, but Poeltl is more proven and was also a lotto pick just a year before Collins was. However, there is a knowledge base that does seem to be missing and I think Elton will be better off if this trade gets rejected and he's forced to do a bit more research into these players. I basically agree with Ian if my meaning is lost somewhere in there, just woke up and I don't feel like I'm elucidating well, yet. Reject
